- Lead and Oversee Global Payroll Operations: Take full ownership of the end-to-end payroll process for our global workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across multiple regions, including the U.S., EMEA, and APAC, and effectively coordinating with PEOs and EORs for international payroll management.
- Drive Global Process Optimization and Automation: Lead initiatives to optimize and automate payroll processes on a global scale, implementing tools and integrations that streamline operations and improve accuracy across all regions.
- Ensure Compliance with Global Payroll Regulations: Maintain rigorous compliance with federal, state, and local U.S. payroll laws, as well as international payroll regulations. Work with local payroll providers to ensure adherence to tax legislation, labor laws, and reporting requirements in each country.
- Oversee Payroll Accounting and Reconciliation: Manage the preparation, review, and posting of payroll entries in financial systems like NetSuite, ensuring accurate reconciliation and alignment with global accounting standards.
- Serve as the Global Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME): Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries across all regions, advising on complex payroll issues and ensuring clear, consistent communication with employees and internal teams.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally with Global Teams: Partner closely with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to align payroll practices with global policies, compensation changes, and compliance requirements. Provide insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement.
- Manage Vendor and Partner Relationships: Oversee relationships with payroll vendors and partners globally to ensure service quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness, adapting strategies to meet evolving regional payroll needs.
- Extensive Global Payroll Leadership Experience: At least 8+ years of experience managing payroll functions in high-growth, multinational organizations, with a strong background in both U.S. and international payroll management.
- Expertise in Compliance Across Multiple Regions: Deep understanding of U.S. federal, state, and local payroll regulations, along with experience in managing payroll compliance in regions such as EMEA and APAC.
- Strategic Problem-Solver with a Global Mindset: Proven ability to identify and implement solutions for complex payroll challenges on a global scale, including automation projects and integrations to streamline payroll processes.
- Exceptional Communication and Organizational Skills: Ability to communicate complex payroll matters effectively to global teams and employees, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-Oriented with a Focus on Compliance: Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance with payroll laws and internal policies worldwide.
- Collaborative Leadership and Team Development: A team-oriented approach and experience in building and leading a high-performing payroll team, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.
For candidates who receive an offer, the estimated pay range for this role is listed below and represents annual base salary range for non-commissionable roles or annual base salary + on-target earnings ("OTE") for commissionable roles. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units. Final compensation will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience and skills. Compensation

This role is eligible to participate in Wiz’s equity plan and may also include incentive compensation.
