What’s the opportunity?
We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Head of Payouts, APAC to lead our payouts operations across the Asia-Pacific region. This role is critical to ensuring seamless end-to-end payout processing, enabling regional growth, and aligning operations with global business goals. You will lead and support a dynamic team of specialists and processors, while driving operational strategy, efficiency, and innovation across all payout activities in the region.
- Provide leadership and support to both the processing team and specialists, ensuring seamless processing and achievement of regional objectives
- Closely lead and manage the operations team for overall operational excellence
- Oversee and coordinate the execution of regional strategies to ensure consistent and efficient operations across all teams
- Monitor performance, set goals, and drive initiatives that align with regional targets and business objectives
- Work with internal teams on operations/ product/ technology road map and integration of partnerships within APAC
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to optimize workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and support regional growth
- Drive strategic decisions involving negotiation and optimization of capabilities, pricing negotiations, exploration of new solutions, and continuous process improvement
- Negotiate and execute commercial partnerships and agreements
- Analysing performance results and optimize accordingly
- Stay on top of local regulatory/licensing requirements and how it impacts our business. Collaborate with regulatory and legal team to ensure the operation is sustainable
- Work closely with merchants and commercial team, focusing in the development of key products
- 7+ years of experience in payment operations, fintech, or cross-border finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of the APAC payments ecosystem, financial regulations, and payout models.
- Proven experience in leading high-performance teams and managing operational complexity at scale.
- Strong data and analytical skills; ability to use metrics to drive decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across cultures and functions.
- Proficiency in English required; additional Asian languages a plus.
