Summary
The HR Generalist is responsible for providing support to the internal HR team with day-to-day HR operations such as supporting employee relations, administering policies and procedures, and contributing to the development of HR initiatives. This role requires strong tactical expertise in HR operations, paired with a proactive mindset and a desire to grow and develop within the field of HR.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
· Assist in new hire onboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
· Act as a point of contact for employees and managers to resolve workplace issues.
· Serve as a culture keeper, modeling the company pillars daily.
· Support employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
· Complete the timely and accurate processing of monthly benefit invoices.
· Continuously monitor federal, state, and local employment laws for updates.
· Maintain employee records in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
· Assist in the administration of performance review processes.
· Provide guidance to managers on performance management and feedback strategies.
· Document HR processes and procedures and update as needed.
· Respond to employee inquiries on company policies and programs.
· Manage day-to-day employee updates and data within HRIS.
· Collect and analyze HR data to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
· Prepare reports for senior management on key HR metrics.
· Assist with additional HR projects and organizational initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
· 2–4 years of HR generalist experience.
· PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
· Foundational understanding of HR laws and regulations.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
· Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
· HRIS experience a plus
