Job Description

A mission-driven personal injury law firm serving clients across Texas. They fight for justice on behalf of individuals injured due to the negligence of others. Intake Specialists are the first point of contact, shaping client experience and ensuring potential cases are thoroughly evaluated and compassionately handled.

Location:
Fully Remote (Work from Home)
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Intake & Qualification:

    • Serve as the first voice clients hear—build rapport quickly and compassionately with injury victims and their families.

    • Conduct detailed, empathetic intake interviews over the phone to assess potential personal injury claims.

    • Gather key facts regarding liability, insurance, and damages, and input accurate data into the case management system.

    • Determine whether prospective clients meet case criteria based on firm guidelines, training, and attorney input.

  • Communication & Case Coordination:

    • Communicate clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish.

    • Explain next steps and firm processes to potential clients, ensuring a smooth handoff to the legal team.

    • Follow up on pending leads and maintain contact until a decision is reached.

    • Coordinate with attorneys and legal assistants to escalate urgent or viable cases promptly.

  • Collaboration & Continuous Learning:

    • Participate in weekly team meetings and coaching sessions with intake leadership.

    • Provide feedback on trends, objections, and potential process improvements.

    • Adapt quickly to changes in intake scripts, procedures, and software.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in client intake, customer service, or legal support preferred; experience in personal injury law is a strong plus.

  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.

  • Excellent listening skills with the ability to remain calm and empathetic in high-stress situations.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to document conversations and data accurately.

  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable using case management software, VoIP systems, and CRM tools.

  • Quickly builds trust with potential clients and helps convert qualified leads into signed cases.

  • Accurately identifies red flags and urgent issues during intake, leading to better case selection and reduced attorney screening time.

  • Maintains detailed records and follows firm procedures without sacrificing compassion or clarity.
