What are we looking for?
BetterHelp is looking for a smart, ambitious and analytical International Performance Marketing Manager to help us scale our paid advertising strategies in our non-US markets (UK, AU, CA, IE, FR, DE, NL, and more). This role is all about growth and optimization achieved by leveraging data to make actionable decisions. This individual will also take part in setting the overall marketing strategy by providing feedback and actively sharing data, results and ideas.
What will you do?
- Assist the Paid Media and SEM team in expanding, optimizing, deploying, and monitoring our advertising campaigns in our non-US markets (UK, Canada, Australia, EU, etc.) in order to scale the business
- Act as a knowledge hub for best paid advertising best practices across international markets
- Proactively seek, identify and evaluate innovative opportunities for campaign growth and improvement
- Explore and test new marketing channels, creatives, platforms and networks
- Maintain weekly reporting and improve upon current reporting processes for better campaign management
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics including CPA, LTV, ROAS, and other paid media contribution
- Collaborate actively with marketing, creative, data science, product, designers and engineers to drive growth and optimization
- Analyze various algorithms, techniques, and statistical models for predictions in a dynamic data environment
- Optimize the landing page and funnel experiences to improve traction and conversion

Can I work remotely?
BetterHelp is based in California but we're a fully remote team. For those in the EU, you'll work your local hours but ask that a portion of your working hours overlap with our US team to ensure effective collaboration. Employees may also be asked to visit our San Jose, CA office (up to three times per year) to build strong team connections and experience our culture. Travel expenses will be covered, and reasonable accommodations will be made for those with unique travel challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years managing Paid Media campaigns across various platforms (SEM, Meta, TikTok, etc.)
- Have a deep knowledge of non-US digital marketing landscapes specifically UK, CA, AU, IE, DE, FR, NL, ES, and IT
- Strong track record of scaling paid advertising efforts across countries and channels
- Experience using data analysis tools such as Looker, Tableau, Google Analytics
- Ability to analyze an enormous amount of complex data, and deliver meaningful conclusions that can be turned into actionable decisions
- Basic knowledge of statistics (P-value, significance, correlation vs causation)
- Ability to proactively seek, identify and evaluate new innovative opportunities for campaign growth and improvement
- Great grasp of numbers with love for data and analytics
- Excellent communication (oral and written), attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
Bonus (nice to have):
- Fluency in multiple languages (specifically in priority markets listed above)
- Experience in healthcare, mental health, or regulated industries
- SQL experience
- Coding experience
- Direct-To-Consumer Marketing experience
