About the Role
We’re a rapidly growing Series B generative AI company backed by top-tier investors, building cutting-edge products at the frontier of machine learning. As we scale our team and operations, we’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking IT Administrator to ensure our infrastructure, internal tools, and support systems are secure, efficient, and AI-enhanced from day one. This role reports to the Head of Security.
Responsibilities
- Own and scale internal IT infrastructure across MacOS, Windows, and Linux systems.
- Manage IT asset tracking and inventory; implement automation to streamline processes.
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud environments (Google Workspace, AWS).
- Drive IT automation using scripting (Python) and AI tools (e.g. you.com, AppSheet).
- Provide VIP-level technical support to executives and team members; resolve escalations quickly and with finesse.
- Build out and maintain documentation, IT wikis, and self-service tools to reduce onboarding and support load.
- Help with cybersecurity and compliance initiatives in alignment with enterprise and startup best practices.
- Administer MDM systems (e.g., Rippling, JumpCloud, etc.) for mobile device management.
- Integrate and optimize scheduling, access control, and Slack/Google ecosystem tools.
- Partner with DevOps, Security, and People teams to support company growth and efficiency.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in IT administration, enterprise support, and infrastructure security.
- Proven ability to solve complex technical problems independently and at scale.
- Background in automation using scripting (Python, Google AppSheet, AI bots).
- Experience managing large inventories and device fleets with MDM solutions.
- Knowledge of networking, VPNs, Zero Trust Security, and cloud-based ecosystems.
- Experience supporting both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership teams.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment; ability to wear multiple hats.
Bonus:
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Google Cybersecurity Certificate.
- Experience working in high-growth tech companies or supporting executive staff.
- Prior contributions to process improvement, automation, and IT policy development.

Our salary bands are structured based on a combination of geographic tiers and internal leveling. Compensation is determined by multiple factors assessed during the interview process, with the final offer reflecting these considerations.
