Lead - FP&A
Job Summary

Role – FP&A Lead
The FP&A Lead will be a strategic finance business partner and work with the CFO / Finance Head responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, MIS and performance analytics. You will drive data-driven decision-making across the organization, build planning infrastructure, and interface regularly with product, sales, marketing, and delivery teams
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Planning & Forecasting
- Build annual and quarterly planning cycles: AOP and QOP, 2-3 year strategic plans, forecasts etc
- Build financial models for various scenarios with key drivers like (ARR growth, pricing strategy, GTM expansion, product-led growth)
- Budgeting & Variance Analysis
- Own department-level budgeting exercise for Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Perform monthly / Quarterly variance analysis (Plan vs Actual), highlighting key drivers
- SaaS Metrics Ownership
- Track and report key SaaS KPIs (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Payback, RPE, Gross Margin, Net Retention)
- Build dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) and financial scorecards for leadership
- Utilise AI to automate certain functions/needs from an FP&A perspective
- Data Infrastructure & Systems
- Drive automation using tools which streamline process and make them faster
- Build LIVE data models using ARR, Contracts, Success ratios etc to showcase current state and future state helping leaders to make decisions
- Investor & Board Support
- Compile and prepare board decks, investor presentations, and fundraising support material
- Collaborate on valuation, due diligence, and financial narratives
Expertise eligibility requirements
- Minimum 4-6 years in FP&A, with at least 2-3 years in SaaS or AI/Tech companies
- Advanced excel knowledge, financial modeling and Proficiency in SaaS metrics is a must
- Knowledge of Power BI/Tableau, Salesforce is required
- Experience in a $10M–$50M ARR environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with US market is a plus
- Skill in using prompt engineering techniques to enhance productivity, drive efficiency, and decision-making with generative AI tools.
