Job Description
Looking for an LDR for StreetFair - A North Carolina-based start-up
About Frontier
At Frontier, we help companies grow full-time, cross-functional teams abroad. We hire the smartest people, and we place them in the best companies. In three years, we’ve never lost a client.
About the client (StreetFair)
StreetFair is the home services marketplace for neighborhoods. We help homeowners find, hire, and recommend the best service providers in their neighborhood. We operate in a two-sided marketplace, helping connect service providers and homeowners. StreetFair utilizes our flagship “happening soon” section to tell homeowners what service visits are upcoming in their neighborhoods and allows them to join in on the service for a discounted rate, given that it's offered by the service provider.
StreetFair also allows homeowners to browse service types by category and see how many of their neighbours have booked with a particular provider in the past, truly showing who the most popular provider in the neighborhood is. Service providers can join the platform with confidence knowing that every user that requests service has their addresses verified and confirmed before booking. StreetFair is free to join, with no costs for leads, and our only cost being a 6% job completion fee. So they only make money when a service provider makes money. We have about 7000 users and just over 100 neighborhoods live on the platform, adding more every week.

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
