Prolific
Prolific is not just another player in the AI space – we are the architects of the human data infrastructure that's reshaping the landscape of AI development. In a world where foundational AI technologies are increasingly commoditised, it's the quality and diversity of human-generated data that truly differentiates products and models.
The role
The Lead Integrity Analyst is a pivotal individual contributor responsible for proactively safeguarding the continued integrity of Prolific's platform from external threats. In this hands-on role, you'll be identifying, analyzing, and tracking emerging fraud vectors on the internet, anticipating industry trends, and gathering intelligence from varied open and proprietary sources. You'll focus on protecting the authenticity of Prolific’s human data by anticipating emerging threats and developing actionable intelligence to prevent harm before it impacts our data collectors, participants, and our data. You’ll work daily with multiple internal teams on vitally important and deeply cross-functional goals.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Deep hands-on experience crafting and deploying robust threat intelligence models, systems, and controls within dynamic, high-growth environments.
- Expertise in leveraging risk modeling, anomaly detection, and behavioral analysis to proactively identify and neutralize emerging threats across various vectors.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and communicate across teams, translating complex intelligence into actionable insights that directly enhance our data quality and protect us from fraud.
Even better if you have
- Familiarity with AI training data workflows, labeling platforms, or crowdsourcing tools is a strong advantage.
What you’ll be doing in the role
- Proactively anticipate the next wave of sophisticated threats by diligently gathering and analyzing intelligence signals from diverse sources, including online communities and partner networks.
- Act as the internal SME on online fraud, integrating threat intelligence, academic research, and evolving regulations into policy and process improvements.
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to emerging threats in both human data and crowdwork/gigwork ecosystems, staying ahead of risks like impersonation, and bot / agentic AI activity.
- Lead rigorous, ongoing audits and investigations, from quality reviews to system-wide risk assessments, driving insights and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, including with engineering, data science, legal, and external partners, to build tooling, maintain compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2), and advance industry-wide standards.

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
