About the Role
We're now seeking a Lead QA Engineer with expertise in test automation to be part of our ambitious mission. As a Lead QA Engineer at Inspiren, you'll be at the heart of our multidisciplinary teams, working closely with and influencing hardware developers, software developers, project managers, and stakeholders at all levels in our hands-on, heads-up working model. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring we provide great quality products.
What you'll do
Manual Testing:
- Conduct & orchestrate comprehensive manual testing of our web/mobile applications and on-device software to identify bugs, defects, and user experience issues.
- Develop/incrementally improve test plans, test cases, and execute test scenarios to ensure product functionality and reliability.
Automated Testing:
- Utilize your expertise in automated testing to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for end-to-end (e2e) & on-device testing.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Work with and contribute to the overarching Automation strategy alongside the Director of QA Engineering.
- Possess and retain leading-edge visibility of innovations within the Automation space.
Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and provide feedback on improving product quality and user experience.
- Full responsibility over QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Influence development/deployment practices through the lens of QA.
Issue Tracking and Reporting:
- Document and track identified issues using issue tracking systems and use insights to provide steer to the wider team.
- Prepare clear and concise reports detailing test results, defects, and recommendations for improvements.
- Senior mentorship to other QA Engineers.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Senior or Lead QA Engineer.
- Expert understanding of testing techniques, QA processes, and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
- Strong experience with automated testing tools/frameworks.
- Javascript / TypeScript experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in healthcare is NOT required but is a bonus.
