As a Lead Solutions Consultant at Wrike, you will serve as a strategic partner to the sales organization, responsible for owning the technical aspects of the sales motion. You will work closely with Account Executives on top-tier opportunities, leading discovery, solution design, and value-driven demos to help customers evaluate Wrike effectively and efficiently. Your deep technical expertise, sharp business acumen, and passion for customer success will position you as a trusted advisor to both prospects and internal teams.
You will contribute significantly to shaping our product roadmap by representing the voice of the customer, championing innovative solutions, and mentoring fellow team members. Through collaborative efforts across marketing, product, and partner teams, you’ll help drive strategic programs and thought leadership.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Lead technical discovery sessions and translate business needs into Wrike solutions.
- Build custom, technically robust demos that may involve integrations with ERP, DAM, financial systems, BI tools, and more.
- Manage proof-of-concept (POC) processes and technical evaluations to ensure successful outcomes.
- Deliver compelling, value-based presentations to stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite.
- Drive strategic account planning and expansion with Account Executives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Evangelize Wrike’s value and industry leadership internally and externally.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members and contribute to internal enablement programs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Partner teams.
- Stay informed about competitive landscape and maintain deep product knowledge.
- Represent the DACH region with cultural and language fluency (German native speaker required).
You'll achieve your best if you have:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, or related technical sales role.
- Extensive customer-facing experience with a track record of successful presentations and objection handling.
- Expertise in enterprise applications, cloud/on-prem architecture, system integration, and security.
- Strong storytelling, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Demonstrated leadership in architecting creative, scalable solutions.
- Proficient in integration techniques including APIs, orchestration, and automation.
- Willingness to travel regionally and work flexible hours when needed.
- Deep understanding of the DACH market and fluency in German.
You’ll Stand Out With:
- Experience with Project Management, Marketing, Professional Services, or IT solutions.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies like Challenger, MEDDICC, or Solution Selling.
- Experience in SaaS or startup environments.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise automation and productivity platforms.
