About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Legal Counsel to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of post-bar experience, with a strong foundation in commercial contracts and a demonstrated ability to support a dynamic technology-driven business. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across multiple areas of law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of technology-related commercial agreements, including cloud services (SaaS, PaaS), IP licensing, marketing, advertising, and distribution contracts.
- Support complex technology supply transactions, including hardware purchases, UCC-secured transactions, insurance, and cross-border/customs matters.
- Provide legal support in real estate transactions, including leases, purchase agreements, mortgages, and related UCC filings.
- Advise on multistate employment and termination issues.
- Research and analyze legal issues across diverse areas of law to support the company’s operations. Collaborate cross-functionally with business, finance, HR, and technical teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 3–5 years of relevant legal experience, ideally a mix of law firm and in-house roles.
- Experience in the technology sector.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the data center industry.
- Familiarity with AI, privacy regulations, and related compliance matters.
- Experience with complex international commercial transactions.
- Background in real estate or multistate employment law.
