SUMMARY
The Business Systems Team plays a pivotal role in fueling Wiz’s growth by strategically partnering with our business teams to maximize our technology investments. As we experience rapid expansion, our mission is to ensure our core business functions are equipped for success at each stage of their journey. We adopt both a holistic perspective and a detailed approach to collaboratively solve challenges, ultimately driving employee effectiveness and revenue generation.
As the Manager, Business Systems Analysts, you will lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts who collaborate with GTM, Product, Finance, Legal, and HR functions to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. You will be accountable for the end-to-end business systems project lifecycle, including managing project intake, eliciting and documenting comprehensive requirements, and performing some project/program management within a Kanban framework. You will also be responsible for fostering strong partnerships across business and technical teams to align on optimal technical solutions and for overseeing the creation and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in adherence to Business Systems processes.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive Business Analysis expertise across a diverse range of tools and business processes. While deep knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem is central to this role, a strong foundational understanding of broader business processes and supporting technologies (such as NetSuite, Pigment, Planhat, Marketo, Workday, Ironclad) will be critical for scaling the function effectively. This leadership position demands a proactive individual with a hands-on approach to tackling challenges. The successful leader will excel at establishing clear processes to address ambiguity, demonstrate strong critical thinking capabilities, and possess exceptional organizational and planning skills.
Please note: This role will be working east coast hours.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own and optimize the Business Systems project intake process, taking full accountability from initial request through to successful delivery. This includes ensuring projects are appropriately assigned to a BA, requirements are clearly defined and documented, work is effectively prioritized, and technical and business teams achieve alignment and approval on proposed technical solutions. You will be responsible for monitoring and improving the "lead time" metric.
- Ensure the consistent creation and meticulous maintenance of all necessary project artifacts throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Guarantee the timely completion and clear communication of project status updates to all relevant business stakeholders.
- Drive continuous prioritization of downstream Jira work based on evolving business needs, changes in team capacity, or unforeseen technical debt within a Kanban delivery model.
- Rigorously Validate the completeness and quality of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), ensuring they meet all essential criteria before the creation of user stories.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams during the execution planning phase to develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that align with our shared definition of ready.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders, proactively embedding yourself within business functions to gain a deep understanding of their technical needs and anticipate future requirements.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented Business Systems solutions, proactively identifying opportunities for ongoing improvement. Stay abreast of a broad spectrum of industry best practices to recommend enhancements that drive operational efficiency and foster innovation.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 6+ years of proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting a SaaS company.
- 2+ years of demonstrated success in a people leadership role, including coaching and developing team members.
- Extensive experience in business analysis, comprehensive requirements gathering, and detailed process mapping within a Business Systems ecosystem, with a primary focus on Salesforce and a strong understanding of upstream and downstream business process dependencies.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects from initial intake to successful delivery within a Kanban environment, including skillful prioritization of user stories, meticulous management of timelines, and effective coordination of resources.
- Essential proficiency with project management tools, particularly Jira.
- A strong technical aptitude across a wide array of business systems and tools, with a significant emphasis on the Salesforce platform and its interconnected ecosystem of applications.
- Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with a well-established track record of effectively engaging with and managing expectations across a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire proficiency in new technologies with a high degree of competence.

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
