As a Manager, Ecosystem Solutions Architects at GitLab, you'll lead a dynamic team dedicated to empowering our cloud, channel, system integrator, and technology alliance partners. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving partner activation, enhancing technical capabilities, and ultimately, expanding GitLab’s reach through our partner ecosystem. You’ll report directly to the Director, Solutions Architect and focus on cultivating strategic relationships, developing technical programs, and ensuring partner success in delivering GitLab-based solutions. This role presents the challenge of bridging the gap between GitLab’s powerful platform and our partner’s unique business needs, ensuring mutual growth and success.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a team focused on activating and enabling cloud, channel, system integrator, and technology alliance partners.
- Develop and implement technical activation programs to elevate partner sales capabilities.
- Oversee the creation of reference architectures, demos, and technical materials showcasing GitLab and partner value.
- Establish methodologies for developing and implementing Partner Activation Plans.
- Guide the team in executing strategies that exceed revenue targets through partner-led GitLab adoption.
- Create processes to measure and track partner technical enablement effectiveness and sales outcomes.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with partner technical leaders.
- Represent partner technical needs and feedback to internal GitLab teams.
- Integrate partner capabilities into the GitLab customer engagement models
What You’ll Bring
- Experience leading technical activation programs for partners or channel organizations.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling partnerships with cloud providers, system integrators, or technology alliance partners.
- Understanding of partner business models and how to drive technical capability that translates to revenue.
- Experience translating product capabilities into partner-ready solutions and reference architectures.
- Knowledge of GitLab’s strategic partner ecosystem (cloud providers, channel partners, technology alliances).
- Ability to measure and demonstrate the business impact of partner technical enablement.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
