- Experienced in working with enterprise tools such as Microsoft 365 Suite, Tableau or Looker (SQL), and other financial reporting and communication applications.

What we need
We need you to do all the things typical of the role:
- Leadership & Team Development:
- Serve as a mentor and coach to junior analysts, providing guidance and training.
- Delegate tasks effectively while ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead by example in handling complex payment reconciliations and issue resolution.
- Payment Analysis & Reconciliation:
- Reconcile loss fund payments with claims data, financial records, and bank statements.
- Audit payments for accuracy, compliance, and contractual adherence.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies with internal teams.
- Assist with reconciliation requests from carriers and auditors.
- Maintain precise records for compliance and audits.
- Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Identify and implement best practices to enhance payment accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the claims & technology teams to improve payment processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations related to loss fund payments.
- Reporting & Stakeholder Communication:
- Create and analyze reports on payment trends, reconciliation status, and outstanding issues.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and external vendors regarding payment-related inquiries.
- Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation for financial reviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience leading teams, preferably across multiple time zones / continents
- 3+ years of experience in managing loss funds, preferably with a TPA
- 3+ years of accounting / finance experience, preferably with AR/AP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a strategic, creative mindset for developing innovative solutions
- Exceptional project management skills, capable of overseeing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
- In-depth knowledge of relevant concepts like GAAP accounting practices, state DOI regulations related to loss funds (in America), and the UK Financial Conduct Authority
- Advance skills in Excel and business intelligence tools, such as Looker, Tableau, etc.
- Experience with claims management systems, particularly Snapsheet, is a plus (but not mandatory)
