Overview
About the Role - Instacart Business is a new and growing segment of the company and we’re looking to accelerate this growth by hiring a world-class sales team. The Instacart Business SDR Manager will be responsible for leading a team of SDR’s who’s primary focus will be to acquire new SMBs onto the platform and get them to start ordering groceries for their business through Instacart Business. This SDR team will identify, contact, qualify and sign up new customers with future opportunities to prospect for other sales pods. As an SDR Manager, you will coach this team on sales best practices, prospecting, building and managing a pipeline, and Instacart’s value proposition. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, can work in a fast-paced environment, and has sales leadership experience in technology, supply chain, SaaS, CPG, or eCommerce.
About the Team - The Instacart Business & Supply Chain Team’s vision is to become the leading technology provider for driving growth and efficiency across the food and beverage supply chain. To lay the foundation for our supply chain aspirations, we’ve started by focusing on serving business needs we know best: find more businesses that have flexible spending and unplanned needs for food and beverages and get them to sign up for a free business profile to do their business purchasing. Over the last few years we’ve made our product and services easier for business customers to use and the SDR team’s focus will be on finding more of our best customers, showing them the value of Instacart for their business and making it simple for them to sign up and get started. Beyond this team, we are simultaneously building enterprise-grade products to capture greater share of wallet and pitching solutions aimed further up the supply chain. We are focused not just on meeting business objectives, but on revolutionizing the food supply chain through creativity, perseverance, and collaborative problem-solving.
About the Job
- Lead and develop a team of high-performing Instacart Business Acquisition SDRs to achieve monthly targets
- Measure and track key business and industry trends
- Improve our sales process, collateral, and prospecting capabilities to make your team more effective and efficient
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve scalable processes to reach more business customers faster and more effectively
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- History of exceeding sales goals/quota
- Experience in a sales management environment
- History of developing early career professionals
- Creative problem-solver
- Process and data driven with proven sales funnel optimization success
- Demonstrated success implementing activity metrics and effectively coaching cold outreach
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems like Salesforce and adept at conducting data analysis for pipeline building and segmentation.
- Creative Problem Solving: Have a willingness to experiment with and test AI tools to develop new ways of working in efforts to streamline processes
- Startup Experience: Background in fast-paced, early staged, innovation-driven company settings where agile and responsive strategies are a norm.Track recording of excelling cross functionally and in a high growth climate

This role is remote and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location. Please review our Flex First remote work policy here.
