As Managing Editor, you will drive the development and execution of strategic content initiatives to elevate AuditBoard’s brand, support go-to-market efforts, and engage external audiences. This high-impact role partners cross-functionally to craft compelling narratives and scalable campaigns that highlight our unique value in the marketplace.
In this role, you’ll lead a talented team to drive content marketing and copywriting strategy for a company at the intersection of innovation, risk management, and digital transformation. At AuditBoard, we give risk management pros the tools to address global systemic challenges such as cybersecurity, sustainability, corporate fraud, and more. Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy:
Build and lead the integrated content strategy across channels (web, social, email, campaigns, PR, etc.), aligned to business objectives and key go-to-market priorities.Brand Narrative Development:
Refine and elevate AuditBoard’s brand voice and messaging in the market. Ensure consistency across all content touchpoints, driving recognition and differentiation.Campaign Enablement:
Partner with Product Marketing and Demand Gen to create content that fuels campaigns — thought leadership, case studies, solution briefs, blog posts, etc., tailored for each stage of the funnel.Executive and Product Storytelling:
Collaborate closely with company leaders to translate technical innovations and strategic priorities into compelling content that resonates with external audiences, including media and analysts.Research and Data Reports:
Partner with internal resources and external vendors to produce world-class research, to help drive awareness and coverage in key business, tech, and industry media outlets.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as a strategic content partner across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure messaging alignment and impact.Copywriting Team Management:
Manage a team of internal and external copywriters, ensuring brand and messaging consistency across web, email, social media, and other key channels.Measurement and Optimization:
Track content performance and continuously refine content strategy based on engagement and conversion data.
Attributes for a Successful Candidate:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in B2B marketing, content strategy, or communications, preferably in SaaS or enterprise technology.
Proven track record of developing and executing strategic content initiatives that drive awareness and engagement.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with experience developing content for diverse channels and formats.
Experience partnering with internal PR and corporate communications functions on awareness campaigns.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
Experience successfully leveraging AI to scale content operations.
Confident working directly with executives and cross-functional partners.
Passion for brand building and crafting differentiated narratives in a competitive market.
Experience managing creative resources and vendors.
Demonstrated experience with SEO best practices, content performance metrics and analytics, and project management tools (e.g.,Monday.com )
