The Role

Ironclad is transforming the way companies manage contracts, and design is a key part of how we express that transformation to the world. We’re looking for a Marketing Designer to help bring our brand to life across all channels. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for a versatile designer who can translate strategy into engaging creative and has a passion for craft, systems thinking, and storytelling.

You’ll contribute to an evolving brand system and collaborate across teams to ensure Ironclad’s visual identity is consistent, scalable, and memorable. This role sits within the Brand Design team and works closely with marketing, sales, talent, customer success, and product teams to shape how Ironclad shows up in the world - from our website and ad campaigns to executive decks and in-person events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design creative assets across a range of touchpoints - website pages, landing experiences, digital campaigns, social content, event branding, and presentations - ensuring clarity, performance, and brand consistency

  • Elevate and maintain slide templates and marketing decks; design high-impact visuals for executive presentations, board meetings, analyst briefings, and more

  • Contribute to and help scale Ironclad’s design system, including brand libraries, templates, and component documentation

  • Contribute to and help scale Ironclad’s design system, creating thoughtful components and patterns that are flexible, accessible, and on-brand

  • Participate in critiques and feedback sessions with a strong point of view and openness to iteration

  • Partner with external creative vendors, offering guidance and design direction to ensure output aligns with brand standards


    About You

  • 4+ years of experience in brand, visual, or marketing design roles within B2B SaaS, either in-house or agency.

  • A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional web design and visual storytelling skills, with work spanning digital campaigns, illustrations, and design systems

  • Strong knowledge of visual design principles - typography, layout, color, composition - and how to use them to guide a user’s journey and shape perception

  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of taste - you care deeply about quality and craft

  • Organized and meticulous, with strong systems for managing libraries, templates, and brand assets

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across teams to build alignment

  • Confident communicator who can explain design rationale clearly to partners from different disciplines

  • A team player who brings positivity, curiosity, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed

  • Bonus: Motion design or animation skills, experience working with product design teams or contributing to product interfaces

Base Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000

The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate. Our base salary is just one component of Ironclad’s competitive total rewards package, which also includes equity awards (a new hire grant, along with opportunities for additional awards throughout your tenure), competitive health and wellness benefits, and a commitment to career growth and development.
