Roofr

Marketing Ops Specialist

Job Description

At Roofr, we’re obsessed with our customers. We constantly gather feedback to shape, prioritize, and launch the products they truly need. That’s what makes Roofr’s CRM special. We started by building essential sales tools like aerial roof measurements and digital sales proposals. But when our customers asked for a simple, affordable way to manage and scale their entire businesses, we listened. So, we created a CRM that connects these solutions—along with payments, material ordering, and more—into a seamless, powerful platform. With a clear roadmap ahead, we’re excited to continue expanding and leading the market with innovative products.

We have an amazing culture, strong financials, and best-in-class company metrics. It’s an exciting time to be part of an extraordinary startup that is already successful, yet still early enough to offer its team significant growth, equity, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist to to support the day-to-day execution and optimization of our marketing systems and processes.

You’ll collaborate closely with Lifecycle Marketing, Revenue Ops, and Growth teams to build and improve the systems that power high-impact marketing. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and excited to own and optimize marketing infrastructure.

What you get to do:

  • Build and optimize workflows in HubSpot to support lifecycle campaigns, user journeys, and data hygiene.
  • Maintain data cleanliness in HubSpot, ensuring proper segmentation, attribution, and lead management.
  • Support campaign execution by building one-off emails, setting up A/B tests, and tracking performance metrics.
  • Monitor email deliverability, list hygiene, and health scores to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Help manage marketing web forms, lead routing logic, and marketing attribution.
  • Pull reports and build dashboards to surface insights on campaign performance, funnel conversion, and user engagement.
  • Support integrations across tools (HubSpot, Webflow Optimize, GA4, Zapier, etc.) and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

What you bring to the role:

  • 2–3 years of experience in a Marketing Ops, Lifecycle Marketing, or a Revenue Ops role with HubSpot Marketing Hub and Sales experience (or a similar CRM).
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, lifecycle workflows, email marketing, and segmentation best practices.
  • Comfortable working with marketing data and metrics, with the ability to pull reports, spot trends, and maintain clean and actionable data. You love digging into data to make things better.
  • Familiarity with managing HubSpot integrations and troubleshooting issues across platforms.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as HubSpot reports, Amplitude, Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills—you enjoy working cross-functionally and finding solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Bonus Points:

  • HubSpot Marketing Certification.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML for email building and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and cross-platform custom event tracking (i.e., sending events to HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with JavaScript for web tracking implementation.
  • Strong understanding of the SMB customer journey, with experience tracking and reporting on fast-moving sales funnels.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
