The Beyond Finance team is looking to add a skilled mental health coach to our growing team. This position will start as a 6 month contract with potential to convert full time, permanent. In this role, you will be asked to support our remote sales representatives through any personal or work issues they may be dealing with. Responsibilities will include conducting sessions one on one with agents, partnering with business stakeholders and preparing/presenting reports and presentations on business impact. This role will report through HR but partner cross departmentally with sales and other departments.
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in both human psychology as well as an understanding of corporate culture and norms. Additionally, this person will have strong interpersonal skills, as part of the job will entail working with agents to open up to you about personal thoughts and feelings. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a role that allowed them to demonstrate the abilities discussed above.
Mental Health Coach Responsibilities:
- Perform 1:1 coaching sessions and observations of inside sales agents
- Collect data from these sessions that can be used to connect trends across the operations floor to create planned structured sessions
- Maintain a strong understanding of the best practices for mental health care in a corporate setting as they evolve
- Partner with business stakeholders on providing feedback of the program and implement strategies
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field required, Master’s degree highly preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role providing mental health services in a corporate setting is highly preferred
- Excellent understanding of psychology and modern therapy techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to empathize and connect with others
- Experience using software systems such as TherapyNotes, ShareNotes, etc
- Willingness to work weekends and nights as dictated by scheduling needs
