Later is the enterprise leader in social media and influencer marketing software, services, and data, trusted by leading brands and agencies worldwide. Following our acquisition of Mavely, the Everyday Influencer Platform®, Later enables brands to scale creator partnerships from nano to premium influencers while managing social media content and campaigns across all major social and affiliate networks. Through proprietary performance data, marketing leaders can drive attributable sales and optimize social commerce with our software platform or award-winning services.

Later is founded on two success stories that began in 2014: Mavrck, the industry-leading influencer marketing solution (now Later Influence™), and Later, the best social media management platform (now Later Social™) and first-to-market link in bio tool, Later Link in Bio. In 2024, Mavrck and Later officially joined together as one unified business, with a shared vision: to enable the world to make a living with their creativity.

We’re trusted by the top social platforms, with partnerships and integrations with Meta, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest.

We enable marketers to create high-performing content and engage in authentic collaborations with creators to reach new audiences, drive engagement, and generate predictable ROI.

About this position:

We’re looking for a skilled, innovative, and self-motivated Mobile Developer who can own and evolve our existing iOS app while helping to shape the future of our mobile platform using React Native. As the development lead on the team, you’ll play a critical role in both maintaining and modernizing our mobile experience which currently reaches ~10k DAU and 200k MAU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications for iOS and, preferably, cross-platform with React Native. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless mobile experiences that meet user and business needs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design, develop, and maintain our existing iOS application written in Swift and Objective-C.
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure successful deployment and updates of apps on app stores.
  • Architect and integrate new React Native components into the existing Swift/Objective-C codebase in a hybrid (brownfield) architecture.
  • Integrate with existing REST APIs and implement or guide design of new APIs as required.
  • Work closely with product and design teams to shape new application features.
  • Establish mobile development best practices and coding standards to guide future team growth.
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic input for mobile technology decisions.

We are committed to building an inclusive, supportive place for you to do the best and most rewarding work of your career. If you identify with any of the following, we encourage you to apply!

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or 3+ years of equivalent work experience).
  • Strong experience with iOS development using Swift/Objective-C.
  • Proven record of writing testable and maintainable code with a focus on quality and performance.
  • Familiarity with X code, iOS SDK, unit testing, and UI testing frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of mobile development life cycle and UI/UX standards.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.
  • Knowledge of app deployment processes in Apple App Store
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing priorities, and communicating effectively.
  • Cross platform development with React Native.
  • History with creating accessible mobile applications.
  • A proven track record of brownfield development, specifically integrating Swift/Objective-C and React Native.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as BitRise.
  • Portfolio of released applications on the App Store or Google Play is a plus.

How you work:

  • You’re proactive and results-driven, always taking initiative, aligning your actions with company goals, and delivering consistent outcomes.
  • Strategic and forward-thinking, you balance immediate needs with long-term opportunities to drive impactful, innovative results.
  • Your curiosity fuels success, keeping you sharp on industry trends, competition, and our cross-functional business dynamics.
  • Adaptable and resourceful, you handle shifting priorities with ease, manage your time effectively, and know when to ask for support.
  • You share insights to help the team stay ahead and make informed decisions.
  • You bring positivity and resilience to every challenge, tackling obstacles with grit and optimism that inspires those around you.
  • You lead with emotional intelligence, building trust, supporting others, encouraging growth, and fostering strong relationships through empathy and collaboration.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
