.NET Software Engineer

Overview
We are looking to hire passionate, creative and curious software engineers with the ability to solve complex problems. This role will help drive the development of serverless production applications and tools for our customers, including new development and the modernization of existing applications. You will work as part of a strategic team assembled specifically to develop cloud native applications for some of the world’s largest companies.
- Migrate .NET applications, job engine plugins and supporting libraries to .NET standard 2.0, .NET 4.5, .NET 8 or .NET 9
- Migrate from legacy Entity Framework to the latest EF Core
- Address compatibility issues with third-party NuGet packages by upgrading versions or identifying functionally equivalent alternatives
- Follow documented best practices for security, coding style guides, pull requests, documentation, etc
- Collaborate in engineering teams to perform unit and integration testing for applications
- Full stack engineer with 3+ years of experience
- Proficiency in C# & .NET framework
- Experience in migrating .NET applications to .NET standard 2.0, .NET 4.5, .NET 8 or .NET 9
- Experience in migrating legacy Entity Framework to the latest EF Core
- Strong Knowledge of Relational and NoSql databases
- Knowledge of working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Bamboo/Github Actions/Azure DevOps) and Git
- Knowledge of AWS or Azure Services
- Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous communication, windows communication Foundation (WCF) or gRPC
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is preferred
- Familiarity with plugin based architectures & device polling protocols such as SNMP or WMI is preferred
- Excellent problem solving skills & ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration
