Job Description

OUR MISSION

Imagine building a better healthcare journey for cancer patients, where individuals and their loved ones feel seen, supported, and heard by their care team – both in and out of the clinic. Where fast access to high-quality care is the norm, not the exception. Where patients have access to a care navigator to guide them through their diagnosis and trusted support all along the way.

At Thyme Care, we share a passion for transforming the cancer care experience – not just for patients but also for their caregivers and loved ones, as well as those delivering and paying for their care. Today, Thyme Care is known predominantly as a cancer care navigation company enabling value-based cancer care; in the next few years, we will become a nationally recognized technology-driven and provider-centric care delivery model, reshaping the landscape of cancer care access, delivery, and experience. Our commitment runs deep—we're not satisfied with the status quo but determined to redefine it.

To make this happen, we’re building a diverse team of problem solvers and critical thinkers to drive innovation and shape the future of healthcare. If you share our vision and want to be part of something truly meaningful, we want to hear from you. Together, we can revolutionize cancer care and make a difference that lasts a lifetime.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Network Operations Manager at Thyme Care, you will support the strategic operations of our fastest-growing vertical, Thyme Care Oncology Partners. This role involves managing relationships, overseeing account operations, and facilitating clear communication and collaborative problem-solving with both external and internal stakeholders. You’ll help refine processes across internal teams and external partnerships to support scalable success in 2025. • Work closely with our Product, Operations Marketing, and patient-facing teams to fully understand team functions and collaborate on highlighting our impact to and stories of members we enroll and how we communicate them to providers.
  • Become familiar with our analytics platforms and EMR reporting used to inform our strategic imperatives and drive practice transformation
  • Learn the ins and outs of partnering oncology practice Thyme Care-related workflows, policies and procedures, escalation pathways, communications best practices, and documentation standards

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

After 6 months you will…

  • Own select practice escalations, resolving issues internally by collaborating with other cross-functional teams
  • Can independently prepare practice-facing materials from templates and other resources
  • Can draft external communications to varying levels of stakeholders, with a clear and concise call to action
  • Begin to identify opportunities to streamline our practice operations, surface trends and potential solutions to improve key metrics with Thyme Care Oncology Partner practices
  • Be up to speed on our business, member engagements, payer partnerships, and provider relationships and serve as core cross-functional contributor internally
  • Drive multiple project timelines and be accountable to milestone dates
  • Be comfortable diving into our data to build market and network insights for our teams to learn from
  • Help build scalable processes for managing information about our network of providers

WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS

  • Action-Oriented: You build presentations, support practice onboarding, and tailor messaging based on partner practice needs
  • Organizational Skills: You manage and independently own metric reporting, operational and strategic improvement initiatives, and practice escalations
  • Communication Skills: You facilitate regular touchpoints with partner practices to drive engagement and ensure alignment with value-based Thyme Care initiatives
  • Adaptability: You recommend and implement process improvements across Thyme Care and partner practice workflows, contributing to scalable implementation strategies and success playbooks
  • Member-Centric Approach: You serve as a strategic thought partner to practices by providing data-driven insights and recommendations, and proactively resolving operational roadblocks
  • Collaboration: You will advocate for partner practice needs internally, ensuring their perspectives inform product, process, and strategic decisions
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in strategy consulting or a related field. Foundational understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including payers and providers. Proven ability to lead and manage both internal and external meetings and communications. Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with Word, PowerPoint, and Google Docs. Experience developing presentations and synthesizing complex information for senior-level audiences

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
