Your Crew and the Role:

We are on the lookout for a B2C Marketing Data Analyst with a strong passion for transforming complex data sets into insights that drive product improvements and business decisions. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make a significant impact on the operational success of our online platform. In this role, you will be the Marketing Specialist of the BI Team. You will support the Marketing team’s day to day activities with data, identify growth levers and help the marketing team to size new opportunity areas.

Your Course - and what we expect from you:

  • Ad Performance Tracking: Use advanced analytical tools to monitor the performance of search and social media advertising campaigns. Analyze click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROAS to provide actionable insights that can improve ad strategies and budget allocation.
  • Sales and Revenue Forecasting: Develop predictive models and forecasting tools using SQL and Python to estimate future revenues based on historical data, customer lifetime value and market conditions. Prepare comprehensive reports in Power BI and Excel to communicate these insights to stakeholders.
  • Attribution Modelling: Develop and refine advanced attribution models to accurately distribute ad spend credit among various touchpoints in a user's journey. Utilize both first-touch and last-touch attribution perspectives to understand the impact of initial and concluding interactions on user conversion. By analyzing detailed click history data, create models that help optimize the allocation of advertising budgets and enhance the overall effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
  • Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain dynamic dashboards that provide real-time insights into advertising spend, sales performance, and customer engagement metrics. Ensure these dashboards effectively support decision-making processes in marketing and sales strategies.
  • Collaboration with Marketing and Sales Teams: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to refine targeting strategies and optimize ad placements. Leverage data-driven insights to inform creative strategies and promotional tactics that enhance customer acquisition.

Your Equipment:


You

  • Power BI Expertise: High expertise in Power BI for creating detailed reports and dashboards is a must, along with strong skills in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Industry Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in the online industry, working with tracking data, demonstrating exceptional SQL skills, and possessing a deep understanding of online marketing function.
  • Online B2C Business Experience: Experience in businesses similar to ours, with a focus on B2C, subscription-based models, and online marketing, including search engines and LinkedIn.
  • Analytics Tools: Proficient in using digital marketing analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Facebook Insights, or similar tools to gather and interpret data relevant to online advertising and sales.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to perform quantitative analysis with a deep understanding of digital marketing metrics and KPIs. Capable of transforming complex data into digestible and actionable insights.
  • Experience: Solid experience in managing and analyzing online ad campaigns, including SEO/SEM, pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, and social media advertising. Familiarity with A/B testing and multivariate experiments to enhance ad effectiveness.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to a variety of stakeholders. Knowledge of German is a plus, aiding in local market communications.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python is highly beneficial for automating data processes and enhancing analytical capabilities.
