Job Description

THE ROLE

We're looking for a dynamic planner to own the end-to-end strategy for several in-house brands across multiple categories, sales channels, and warehouse locations. You’ll be the driving force behind inventory planning, partnering closely with internal teams and a wide-ranging supplier network to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

  • Execute strategies set forth by management to optimize revenue, turn, in-stock rates, and ownership
  • Build SKU-level, omni-channel sales plans and forecasts
  • Write, manage, and track all inbound POs
  • Monitor key performance indicators and drive corrective action
  • Work closely with Product Development on new launches and product transitions
  • Share order forecasts with suppliers and maintain communication to ensure follow-through on orders
  • Manage component inventory and timing of delivery to suppliers
  • Partner with Operations and Transportation on the movement and availability of inventory
  • Partner with Merchandising and Marketing to develop strategies to improve sales and turn
  • Liaise with Billing, Accounting, and Operations on invoicing and receipt discrepancies
  • Drive root cause analysis & reporting on operational issues
  • Support initiatives to drive improvements in Inventory Planning systems, data, and processes

ABOUT YOU

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory planning and procurement; preferably within a fast-paced e-commerce environment
  • Advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven success in achieving key inventory metrics
  • Comfortable learning new software and tools
  • Possesses previous experience in the physical products space, with a focus on DTC business
  • Cares about leaving a positive impact in the world

COMPENSATION

$80,000-110,000. Our compensation bands are adjusted based on market-specific cost of living data, meaning that the top of our salary range is reserved for the most experienced candidates in the highest cost of living areas across the country. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for an annual incentive target and equity.
