Summary
As Wiz continues to expand its presence in Japan, we are seeking a results-driven Partner Marketing Manager to lead and execute demand generation initiatives in collaboration with cloud service providers (CSPs), channel partners, and global system integrators (GSIs). In this strategic role, you will develop and activate joint go-to-market campaigns, prioritize marketing investments, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
You will work cross-functionally with the Japan Channel Sales team, Field Marketing, Global Partner Marketing, and the broader marketing organization to accelerate pipeline growth through collaborative partner programs (‘to’, ‘through’, and ‘with’ strategies). This position reports to the Japan Field Marketing Lead.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute integrated marketing plans with distributors, resellers, and CSPs to drive brand awareness and pipeline growth across Japan.
- Collaborate with CSP Alliance Managers, Channel Leads, and Partner Marketing counterparts to define strategic initiatives and joint marketing priorities.
- Localize and implement global partner marketing campaigns in alignment with regional field marketing strategies.
- Create and manage detailed campaign plans including objectives, messaging, channels, calls to action, follow-up processes, and performance metrics.
- Drive multi-partner demand generation initiatives, working closely with field and channel marketing teams.
- Support and execute strategic CSP-hosted or partner-facing events that generate demand and foster partner engagement.
- Oversee the planning and management of Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and associated programs within the region.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of experience in partner marketing within B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environments in Japan.
- Proven success in developing and executing high-impact partner marketing campaigns.
- Strong project management skills with a sharp attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to align marketing initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
- Experience executing field marketing activities such as webinars, trade shows, and partner events.
- Proficiency with marketing and analytics tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, Tableau, and 6sense.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Team collaborator, and enjoy the start-up environment with ambiguity.
