What you bring
- Expert in payroll processes specifically for employees under the portage salarial business model
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing payroll processes to support the portage salarial business model
- Deep working knowledge of French labor law related to portage salarial, including URSSAF, retirement schemes, and unemployment rights for salariés en portage salarial
- Experience in working on payroll systems (using Silae) and services in a multi-product, high-growth scale-up company
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Writes and speaks fluent English and French
- Remote work experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Help build and maintain portage salarial payroll with Remote product, engineering, and operations teams
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of proprietary payroll software deployment for portage salarial
- Ensure correct interpretation of contracts, billing schedules, and reimbursements for salariés en portage salarial
- Process professional expenses, per diems, and travel reimbursements specific to salariés en portage salarial ensuring legal and fiscal compliance
- Work closely with legal and account management teams to ensure full compliance and support for portage employees and customers
- Coordinate with Remote internal teams to facilitate testing and integration of platform changes to support payroll at Remote
- Work closely with Remote teams, including Product, Engineering, Tax and Accounting to develop Payroll solutions in the Remote platform
- Identify solutions to challenges, inconsistencies, and obstacles by collaborating with necessary stakeholders
- Evaluate third-party vendors based on needs and obligations of Remote to ensure compliance with statutory requirements as well as company requirements

The base salary range for this full-time position is $40,700 to $91,650 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
