About the role and why it’s unique:

The People Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting HR functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and enhancing the employee experience. This role requires experience using Workday, as you will manage HRIS processes, employee data, and system workflows. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple HR administrative tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with IT, Employee Experience, HRBP’s and Manager’s to ensure new hires have a seamless onboarding experience from the moment they've accepted their offer
  • Support new hire onboarding and training sessions, manage onboarding documentation, I-9 verification, and maintain employee records in Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Process HR transactions, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and job changes within workday
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and system navigation
  • Support benefits administration and leave tracking as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR processes and systems
  • Support payroll and compensation processes by ensuring accurate employee data in Workday
  • Assist in the implementation of new HR initiatives and programs
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, labor laws, and data privacy regulations

Who you are:

  • 1-3 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a related field
  • Experience using Workday – ability to navigate, update, and report within the system
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, compliance, and best practices
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other HR tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $33.65/hour and $36.05/hour, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.
