Job Description

About Hightouch

Hightouch’s mission is to empower everyone to take action on their data. Hundreds of companies, including Autotrader, Calendly, Cars.com, Monday.com, and PetSmart, trust Hightouch to power their growth.

We pioneered the Composable Customer Data Platform (CDP), which lets companies use their own data warehouse to collect, prepare, and activate customer data for marketing personalization and business operations. Our new AI Decisioning platform goes a step further, allowing marketers to set goals and guardrails that AI agents can then use to personalize 1:1 customer interactions. Traditionally, only technical teams had the skills to access and use customer data. With Hightouch, every business user can deliver personalized customer experiences, optimize performance marketing, and move faster by leveraging data and AI across their organization.

Our team focuses on making a meaningful impact for our customers. We approach challenges with a first-principles mindset, move quickly and efficiently, and treat each other with compassion and kindness. We look for team members who are strong communicators, have a growth mindset, and are motivated and persistent in achieving our goals.

What else? We’re based in San Francisco but have team members all over the world. Our Series C put us at a $1.2B valuation, and we are backed by leading investors such as Sapphire Ventures, Amplify Partners, ICONIQ Growth, Bain Capital Ventures, Y-Combinator, and Afore Capital.

About The Role

Are you passionate about shaping the future of AI-powered marketing? Do you thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where your contributions make an impact? Our team is looking for an exceptional Product Marketing Manager to own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for our cutting-edge AI Decisioning product, purpose-built to empower marketers to maximize customer lifetime value with reinforcement learning and AI agents.

In this role, you'll drive the positioning, messaging, and enablement that helps CRM marketers unlock the power of data and AI to create personalized customer journeys. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to define GTM strategies, develop impactful messaging, create sales enablement assets, and evangelize the product’s value at events and webinars. If you're excited about crafting marketing stories that resonate deeply with marketing leaders and teams, we’d love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Positioning & Messaging: Develop and refine positioning for AI Decisioning that speaks directly to marketing personas, emphasizing use cases like 1:1 personalization, customer journey optimization, and continuous experimentation.
  • Market Research: Conduct user research with marketing professionals to identify their pain points, uncover market opportunities, and position our product as the ultimate solution for their challenges.
  • Enablement Materials: Create compelling sales playbooks, messaging frameworks, one-pagers, and customer stories that help internal teams demonstrate to marketers the value of AI Decisioning.
  • Drive Content & Launch Campaigns: Create and refine case studies, blogs, videos, and launch materials that showcase how AI Decisioning empowers marketers to deliver personalized customer journeys and measurable outcomes.
  • Evangelism: Represent Hightouch externally at field events, webinars, and customer engagements, building trust with key stakeholders in the CRM and martech ecosystem.
  • Community Building: Create and implement a strategy to connect with and engage our target audience in marketing, fostering relationships, and building a space where they can share insights, challenges, and successes.

What We're Looking For

  • GTM Expertise: Proven experience planning and executing GTM strategies for enterprise B2B SaaS products, ideally in the martech or AI space.
  • Marketing Persona Focus: Deep understanding of CRM and lifecycle marketers, including their goals, pain points, and decision-making processes.
  • Storytelling Mastery: Ability to transform complex AI and machine learning concepts into clear, actionable narratives that resonate with marketers.
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to distill and articulate the technical benefits of AI Decisioning for both technical and non-technical audiences, including marketers and C-suite executives.
  • Market & Competitive Research: Strong background in analyzing competitors and market trends to identify differentiation opportunities and ensure product-market fit.
  • Collaboration Skills: Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to align on strategy and execution.
  • B2B SaaS Experience: Background in marketing enterprise SaaS products to large organizations, with a focus on marketing teams or CRM solutions.

Bonus If You Have

  • Martech or AI Experience: 5+ years of experience with martech, AI, or data-focused GTM strategies, particularly for products targeting CRM marketers.
  • Lifecycle Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with lifecycle marketing strategies, personalization tools, and customer engagement platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Iterable.
  • Ecosystem Marketing Expertise: Experience building strategic partnerships and marketing within ecosystems, such as Snowflake, Salesforce, or other martech platforms.
  • Startup Experience: Previous experience working in a startup environment, demonstrating the ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced setting while wearing many hats. **

We are looking for talented, intellectually curious, and motivated individuals who are interested in tackling the problems above. We focus on impact and potential for growth more than years of experience. The salary range for this position is 150,000-185,000 dollars per year, which is location-independent in accordance with our remote-first policy.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
