Environmentally and Socially conscious. We’re committed to sustainable materials and sustainable production methods. That means a cleaner environment and fair wages for factory workers.

OUR TEAM AND SUCCESS

Quince is a retail and technology company co-founded by a team that has extensive experience in retail, technology and building early stage companies. You’ll work with a team of world-class talent from Stanford GSB, Google, D.E. Shaw, Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Wayfair, McKinsey, Nike etc.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will drive complex technical programs to support our expansion into new global markets. In this role, you will orchestrate cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, business, and legal, to ensure seamless market entry and ongoing success. Your core responsibilities include developing robust program roadmaps, driving consensus on priorities, and overseeing the end-to-end launch process in each new country. By anticipating regulatory complexities, identifying and mitigating risks, and coordinating with diverse stakeholders, you will bring clarity to ambiguous situations and streamline decision-making. Your strength in program management and strategic leadership will be essential in delivering on tight timelines, optimising global readiness, and laying the groundwork for sustained international growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive technical programs to enable expansion from the U.S. into new global markets, partnering closely with engineering, product, business, and legal teams
  • Own end-to-end delivery of international launch programs, including roadmap planning, requirements gathering, execution tracking, and stakeholder communication
  • Build and manage detailed project plans across multiple workstreams, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of regulatory, technical, and customer-facing components.
  • Facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams by driving consensus on scope, priorities, and dependencies for international expansion initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks early by applying strong program management rigor and collaborating with stakeholders to develop practical solutions.
  • Communicate program updates, risks, and decisions to senior leadership through clear written and verbal communication.
  • Support the development of scalable and reusable frameworks that reduce the time, cost, and complexity of launching into new countries.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure technical solutions meet market-specific requirements and long-term goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8- 10 years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams
  • Proven experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with experience in building scalable processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting program updates and recommendations to executive stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Experience working on international expansion, localisation, or regulatory compliance in global markets
  • Ability to simplify complex technical and organisational challenges and influence decision-making across teams
  • Experience defining and tracking KPIs and SLAs to drive program success and communicate impact to senior leadership
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence

We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. Bonus eligibility varies by role and is determined based on the position’s impact and contribution to our strategic goals.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
