SUMMARY
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fun, supportive and high-functioning legal team as we expand our legal team globally. We are looking for a talented and creative person who is passionate about the legal aspects of procurement contracts, managing legal projects, knowledgeable about privacy compliance and comfortable in a collaborative environment that minimizes hierarchy and requires accountability and ownership of tasks. You should be dedicated to providing outstanding legal service, coordinating and working closely with different teams across the company, paying close attention to detail, and bringing sound and balanced legal and business judgment with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Be a legal business partner to Wiz’s procurement team.
- Structure, draft and negotiate a high volume and broad range of contracts with different kinds of vendors and agreements, including marketing agreements, consulting agreements, events production and event sponsorship agreements, SaaS and software agreements, data processing agreements, services agreements, etc.
- Review of privacy aspects in vendor agreements including data processing agreements.
- Advise finance, HR, product, R&D, sales and marketing teams on legal, compliance and privacy matters that are relevant to these teams’ engagements with different vendors.
- Support the continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes.
- Manage a heavy workflow, setting appropriate priorities with internal stakeholders and delivering results efficiently and quickly.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years of in-house legal/ experience in a software/technology company or a commercial department of a leading law firm
- Significant experience in working on procurement contracts.
- Experience in handling and dealing with data privacy matters, including a good understanding and knowledge of privacy laws (GDPR, CPRA and other global privacy laws).
- Licensed to practice law in Israel/UK/EU/US or with relevant legal experience or education.
- Native English required.
- A pragmatic and “business friendly” attitude with an understanding that the legal team’s primary purpose is to support the growth and success of the business.
- Ability to take ownership of and to lead all legal processes in relation to Wiz’s procurement practices.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to advocate for a position while maintaining a collaborative and open-minded approach.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including during US and Israel business hours.

Compensation
Starting compensation will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's job-related experience, skills and geographic location. Your Talent Partner can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
This role is eligible to participate in Wiz’s equity plan and may also include incentive compensation.
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is listed below.
