Your Role: Founding Product Designer

We are looking for a visionary Founding Product Designer to join our Engineering team and help to define and execute the user experience of our platform. You will design intuitive interfaces for complex AI-powered security tooling, balancing technical depth with usability and elegance. As our first design hire, you will lead design strategy and execution across the entire product lifecycle, from concept to delivery.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the visual and functional identity of a company at the forefront of AI-driven cybersecurity.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Product Design: Lead all aspects of product design, including UX/UI, information architecture, and interaction design, ensuring our platform is intuitive, effective, and visually compelling.

• Shape the Design Strategy: Define and execute the design vision for our core platform while establishing best practices to scale design efforts as we grow.

• Collaborate Closely: Work hand-in-hand with engineers, product managers, and world-class security researchers to translate complex technical capabilities into intuitive user experiences.

• Bring your designs to life: confidently spearhead the initial implementation - iterating quickly alongside engineers to turn concepts into tangible, testable prototypes

• Iterate with Customers: learn directly from our users to continually improve our products.

• Design End-to-End: Create user journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes while validating designs through user research and rapid iteration.

• Multi-Faceted Design: Extend beyond product design to shape company branding, marketing assets, and other design touchpoints as needed.

• Accelerate Delivery: Ensure designs are implemented effectively and maintain a rapid feedback loop to deliver iterative improvements.

Who You Are

• Experienced Product Designer: You have an established portfolio of work demonstrating your experience in product design delivering products from 0 to 1.

• Technically Curious: You are comfortable working on products at the intersection of AI, security, and software development, translating technical complexity into intuitive user experiences.

• Hands-On and Versatile: You thrive in ambiguity, wear multiple hats, and are willing to dive into user research, interaction design, and visual design as well as implementation.

• Ownership Mentality: You take pride in your work, operate with autonomy, and seek opportunities to shape both the product and the company.

• Fast-Paced Operator: You work quickly and iteratively.

Bonus Points

• Experience designing developer-facing tools, security platforms, or AI-powered products.

• Proficiency in prototyping complex user flows and interactive experiences.

• Background in visual storytelling and brand identity design.

• Location: Remote (all team members are remote but we meet regularly and you’re supported to travel to collaborate with colleagues in person)

• Contract: Full-time.

• Hiring Process:

  2. 45-min portfolio review.

  3. 2-hour design deep dive.

  4. 20-min final meeting with leadership.
