About the Role:
As a Product Specialist for Motive Safety, you will be the in-house expert on our Safety product suite. You will act as a vital bridge between our customers, R&D, and Product teams, ensuring our solutions meet real-world needs and perform optimally.
What You’ll Do:
- Become the primary internal and external expert for all technical and functional aspects of Motive's Safety products.
- Deliver comprehensive roadmap presentations to key customers, gathering feedback and managing expectations.
- Lead detailed discussions with customers to understand their pain points, gather specific feature requests, and collaboratively brainstorm solutions, including deep-dive discovery sessions.
- Directly engage customers on AI-related questions, explain model behavior, and help troubleshoot AI performance perceptions or actual issues.
- Work closely with the R&D team (especially AI/ML engineers) to communicate customer-reported AI behaviors, provide real-world data insights, and assist in validating fixes or improvements.
- Proactively gather detailed feedback on issues encountered during customer trials, performing initial troubleshooting.
- Coordinate directly with the Product team (and R&D/Engineering as needed) to ensure trial issues are understood, prioritized, and addressed promptly.
- Provide advanced technical support and consultation to customers on how to best leverage existing Safety features for their specific operational needs.
- Work with Account Managers to understand key issues across the customer base and escalate and prioritize accordingly
- Synthesize and translate detailed customer feedback and feature requests into actionable insights for the Product Management team.
- Assist in the creation of internal training materials and documentation for sales, support, and other internal teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand complex software, hardware, and AI/ML concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal teams (Product, R&D, Sales, Customer Success).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate resolution with engineering or product teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of distilling complex technical information for diverse audiences.
- High customer empathy, with a desire to deeply understand and solve customer problems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially for managing feedback and trial issues.
- Proactive mindset with a drive to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Experience working effectively with remote/offshore teams is a plus.

Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units.
