About the Role
The Product Marketing Specialist for Mexico will be a key member of the Motive marketing team, responsible for a variety of functions that support our go-to-market strategy in Mexico. This role will be responsible for significant content localization and market research work to support the business in expanding its Sales and Marketing programs and content to the Mexico market.
You will work closely with the US and Mexico sales and marketing leads to support a range of programs that help the company grow its brand and customer base in Mexico. This role requires strong bilingual communication, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, a focus on making a measurable impact, and ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Mexico City.
What You’ll Do
- Research and report on market and competitive trends that help identify Sales opportunities and inform marketing strategy.
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) plans for the Mexico market, ensuring alignment with company objectives and revenue targets.
- Extend new product launches and feature releases to the Mexico market, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless rollout.
- Localize company and product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with the Mexico market, and differentiate Motive in a competitive landscape.
- Develop sales collateral, presentations, and training materials to enable the Mexico sales team to effectively position and sell the Motive platform
- Manage marketing agency partners in developing and translating marketing content, including website copy, emails, and social media posts.
- Collaborate with demand generation and content marketing teams to create compelling campaigns that drive awareness and lead generation in Mexico.
- Identify opportunities for differentiation and expansion.
- Work with customers directly to understand their challenges and Motive opportunities, and apply learnings to messaging, customer stories, and campaigns
- .Act as the voice of the customer in Mexico, ensuring that product development aligns with market needs, recommending roadmap decisions based on customer and market insights.
- Support localization of Motive’s platform demo for the Mexico Sales team.
- Work closely with US and Mexico Marketing and Sales teams in both virtual and on-site settings.
- Work from the Motive Mexico office 2x per quarter, including in-person QBRs meetings.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in Marketing or a related field
- Experience with a broad range of Marketing functions, including product messaging, market research, customer case studies, PR, product demos, and content development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- A collaborative and results-oriented team player
- Experience with marketing automation and analytics platforms – Tableau, Salesforce, G-Suite
- Experience working with virtual teams
- Ability to work in the Mexico City office at least 2x per quarter
