The Product Operations Manager plays a critical role within the Product organization and acts as a liaison between Product, Operations, and Customer Success. The Product Operations Manager is responsible for improving various user flows related to Human Interest’s integrations with payroll providers. Your primary responsibilities include troubleshooting existing integration issues, identifying root causes, and working with product and engineering to ensure that root cause issues are fixed.

- Triage and troubleshoot incoming issues related to payroll provider integrations, and collaborate with product and engineering to solve root cause issues
- Conduct reviews of operational processes to look for automation opportunities and reduce friction points in 401(k) money movement processes
- Proactively monitor issues using dashboards and queries to resolve issues before they result in customer problems
- Embody the “Voice of the Customer” by working with cross-functional stakeholders to surface key insights
- Create and update support documentation to make resolution times faster and faster
- Conceive and implement projects to drive product initiatives to achieve core team goals
What you bring to the role
- 3-5 years of experience in technical onboarding, product operations, customer support, or a related technology role that works with product and engineering
- Track record of working cross-functionally within a fast-paced environment to resolve complex problems
- Ability to both solve immediate customer issues with a bias for action, and build better processes that make operations more efficient
- Working knowledge of integration technologies (APIs, SFTP, etc.) and analytical tools (SQL, Excel, etc.)
- Profound customer empathy and the ability to advocate for them

Compensation - At Human Interest, there are a number of factors that are used to determine the appropriate pay range for each position. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the US. The base salary for this position spans $90,000 - $120,000 and represents the minimum in our lowest geographic region to a maximum in our highest geographic region. The salary that we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the US, their relevant job-related skills, and experience. At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall Total Rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as bonus, commission, and equity may be offered.
