Description
As a foundational member of our product operations organization, your role will be crucial in supporting and enhancing Cobalt's product offerings for our expanding customer base. By utilizing data insights, you will identify opportunities to enhance user experiences and lead the development of automation and processes to streamline internal scaling efforts. You will also play a key role in the launch process of new features, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, design, data, marketing, and customer-facing teams. Your contributions will be pivotal in driving the success of Cobalt's product, ensuring seamless user experiences, optimizing internal operations, and fostering ongoing innovation within Cobalt. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Drive data-driven decision-making by tracking product usage, identifying trends, generating reports, analyzing product data, defining KPIs, and improving product feedback loops.
- Assist in planning and executing product launches, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and ensuring seamless deployment.
- Support Product Managers by reducing administrative burden, facilitating communication and alignment, managing product documentation, and assisting with product launches.
- Responsible for managing customer-facing documentation on docs.cobalt.io, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
- Manage the product tech stack to ensure effective selection, implementation, and maintenance of tools and platforms used by the product team.
- Enhance operational efficiency by defining and documenting workflows to streamline the product development lifecycle, while also identifying bottlenecks in product processes and proposing scalable solutions for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Customer Success teams to troubleshoot issues, document workflows, and drive operational excellence.
- Ensure Product Quality and Governance by overseeing quality assurance processes and managing compliance and regulatory requirements where needed.
- Establish communication channels and forums to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and alignment between product, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
You Have
- 3-5 years of work experience in product operations, product management, design, program management, or highly cross-functional operational roles in the tech industry.
- Recent experience in the use of AI for productivity and efficiency
- Strong project management experience with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in executing cross-functional projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey highly technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences and build empathy for user problems.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Passion for delivering an outstanding user experience.
- Experience collaborating with global team members.

Pay Range Disclosure
Cobalt is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is ($141,600 - $177,000) per year + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The salary range may differ in other states and may be impacted by proximity to major metropolitan cities.
