Program Manager, Monetization

We are looking for an experienced and passionate program manager who can drive complex cross-team projects in an agile way. You will work closely with the Product, Engineering, GTM, and BI teams to help drive technical projects, identify and resolve blockers and manage complex dependencies. You will spend most of your time working alongside multiple engineering teams and product managers focused on the design and implementation of our monetization systems from purchase to billing.

What you will do:

  • Facilitate planning, execution and visibility for several key projects within the Monetization areas
  • Responsible for artifacts reflecting plans, progress, issues and risks.
  • Facilitate collaboration between teams, understand the system level dependencies; ensure cross-team dependencies are identified and acted on, and mitigate delivery risks.
  • Based on team capacity, perform expectations management on what is not going to get done
  • Foster Agile best practices and methodologies;
    • Help teams improve their internal operation and ways of working
    • Help teams and stakeholders understand empirical and iterative product development
    • Actively support and encourage continuous improvement culture

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • 3+ Years working as a program manager, (Experience in Agile Roles as Scrum Master, Product Owner or Coach preferred)
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle and Continuous Delivery
  • Strong verbal and written communication; Ability to clearly communicate project status, risks and mitigations to senior management and stakeholders
  • Understanding of Jira as an Agile tool
  • Previous experience working closely with multiple engineering teams on interrelated projects including iteration planning, development and retrospectives
  • Experience creating and communicating delivery timelines
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt plans to changing requirements

Not Required, but a Plus:

  • Understanding of Payment Processing and Billing Systems (Stripe, Zuora etc)
  • Defined valuable process metrics, and associated data collection
  • Configured and managed Jira workflows, team boards, built information radiators in the Atlassian suite (or comparable)

Base Salary Range:

  • NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $112,000 - $140,000
  • All other US cities outside above metro areas: $100,800 - $126,000
