Our client is a leading company specializing in civil construction, utility design, and engineering solutions. With a focus on delivering high-quality infrastructure projects, they provide innovative and reliable services to their clients. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong civil engineering background to oversee project execution and contribute to the company’s continued growth.
Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
Plan, coordinate, and manage civil construction and utility design deliverables from initiation through completion.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful on-time and on-budget delivery.
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
Technical Expertise:
Utilize civil engineering knowledge to review project plans, specifications, and estimates.
Leverage familiarity with estimating tools such as AGTEK and HeavyBid (HCSS) to support project budgeting.
Use AutoCAD, Trimble EC-CAD, and other design software to assist in project planning and execution.
Client Communication & Growth:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external partners.
Grow into a client-facing role by providing regular project updates, addressing client inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to optimize project workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Support adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance throughout project phases.
Qualifications
Experience:
3+ years of experience in civil construction, utility design, or related fields.
Previous project management experience within construction or engineering projects.
Technical Skills (Nice-To-Have):
Proficiency with construction estimating software such as AGTEK and HeavyBid (HCSS).
Experience using design software including AutoCAD and Trimble EC-CAD.
Bonus:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is highly preferred.
Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
