CONTRACT ROLE
Insomniac Games is looking for a Project Manager (Missions). The Project Manager (Mission) will lead and coordinate with vision holders to set Pod goals, ensuring the successful implementation of gameplay features. This role is crucial in delivering a flawless narrative and gaming experience by managing
schedules, facilitating communication, and solving challenges within the development process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrated ability to build, modify, and maintain schedules for assigned Pods in partnership with Pod Leads
- Partner with Track and Pod Leads in the creation of milestone goals deliverables
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems independently and collaboratively to ensure smooth production
- Guiding stakeholder reviews and feedback process with Pod Leads
- Communicates update to the development team about project changes and progress.
- Facilitate cross-discipline communication and unblock team members from task dependencies
- Maintains awareness of Pod content status through regular play sessions

Computer Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of bug tracking database(s) is required- DevTrack, TFS, Jira or other industry standard.
- Working knowledge of version control software. Perforce is preferred.
Other Skills: Solves problems both independently and collaboratively and adheres to the studio’s expectations of cultural leadership. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to present ideas clearly and work well within a large team environment. Must be a good team leader and be able to make informed decisions to achieve desired results. Ability to create and
maintain good relationships with other departments.
