As a Driver Recruitment Specialist, you will be at the forefront of building Via’s driver network in Germany. In this role, you’ll lead end-to-end recruitment efforts to attract, engage, and onboard drivers for our services. You'll develop and execute innovative strategies, manage relationships with recruitment partners and agencies, and help us deliver a reliable and positive experience for drivers and riders across Germany.
This is a part-time position with an initial contract duration of one year, which can be performed remotely as long as you reside in Germany.
What You’ll Do:
- Support Via’s driver recruitment for the entire DACH market
- Work closely with our central supply planning teams to manage and coordinate hiring targets for each one of our services
- Coordinate on-site appointments with local field teams and oversee scheduling of driver onboarding and training
- Respond to driver candidate questions and coordinate appointment bookings along the recruitment process ensuring an excellent candidate experience
- Take responsibility for driver base data and ensure new hires meet our high compliance standards
- As the real-time point of contact, you will prioritize operational issues and implement creative solutions to solve problems as they arise
- Diligently work with a broad interdisciplinary team to help scale operational processes, systems, and tools to drive rapid growth
Who You Are:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience (including internships).
- Native-level German and intermediate level of English.
- You’re empathetic and thrive on building meaningful relationships. You understand that everyone has a unique background, and you're able to connect with individuals from a wide range of cultures, personalities, and communication styles.
- You're an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- You’re a proactive problem-solver who responds to challenges with quick, thoughtful solutions.
- You work well with others and collaborate effectively with internal teams, recruitment partners, and external vendors.
- You’re organized and capable of managing multiple recruitment pipelines at once.
- Experience with high-volume or fast-growth recruitment or customer support is not required, but is a plus. - Salary range: €15 -17/ h base pay for a work week of up to 20 hours. Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills
