About the role:
As a Revenue Operations Manager at Kong, you will serve as a strategic partner to our Director of Revenue Analytics and directly support scaling and operationalizing workflows for our Field Sales Organization and Customer Success Organization . Your mission is to drive operational excellence across our go-to-market (GTM) functions by optimizing systems, processes, and data. You will play a pivotal role in managing our front facing CRM, influencing middle and bottom funnel strategy, and ensuring data integrity to support scalable growth.
- Oversee the operational workflows and optimization of Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all GTM teams.
- Implement best practices for data capture, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a clean and organized CRM environment.
- Develop and refine operational territory models to ensure equitable distribution and maximize market coverage.
- Utilize data-driven insights to adjust territories based on performance and market dynamics.
- Analyze and streamline sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement automation tools and workflows to reduce manual tasks and enhance productivity.
- Ensure our GTM enterprise platforms are set up to properly measure business KPIs
- Influence the Quote-to-Cash to renewal workflow
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success to ensure alignment across the customer journey.
- Facilitate communication between departments to support unified GTM strategies.
- Act as a liaison between GTM teams and technical teams to translate business needs into system requirements.
- Assist in the development of revenue forecasts and sales targets.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Support annual and quarterly planning processes across GTM functions.
- And any additional tasks required by manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a similar role within a SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM administration, CPQ, and related tools such as Zoominfo, Clari, Cognisim, Clay, and Outreach.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience in territory planning and management.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and customer success tools.
Kong has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to specific candidate location, role, skill set and level of experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards including sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role. Benefits may vary depending on location. US based employees are typically offered access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short and long term disability benefits, basic life and AD&D insurance, among others. The typical base pay range for this role in the US is $110,000 - 130,000.
