THE ROLE
**This is a contract position, with an estimate workload of 30-40 hours per week. The initial term of this contract will be six months, with potential to extend or convert to full-time at the end of the contract period.
We are seeking a highly organized and systems-savvy HRIS Administrator/Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our newly launched Rippling platform. As a contractor, you will work closely with our People, IT, and Finance teams to ensure that the employee lifecycle is smooth, data is accurate, and HR technology is leveraged to its fullest.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Act as the main internal consolidation point for run of the mill Rippling issues, concerns, questions to organize and escalate to Rippling Support as necessary; i.e. PTO policy incorrectly assigned.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, workflows, and system settings as extension of broader People Team.
- Ensure data consistency across modules (People, IT, Benefits, Payroll).
- Support the optimization and build of onboarding and offboarding workflows within Rippling.
- Configure and refine automations and approval flows to most efficient state.
- Document best practices and support the generation of SOPs for configurations and key workflows.
- Perform data audits and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Provide Rippling support to internal teams; train managers and employees on specific system functionality as needed.
- Act as the point of contact with Rippling support for escalations, while providing internal People Team stakeholders with status updates.
- Main contact for coordination with Rippling Account managers and regular meeting cadence.
- Keep up with new features and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Weekly update report outlining completed tasks, upcoming priorities, and blockers.
- Creates monthly HRIS audit and metrics report.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of experience in HRIS administration; direct Rippling experience is required.
- Within Rippling: Familiarity with onboarding, payroll, benefits, and provisioning workflows.
- Experience building and maintaining workflows within Rippling.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
- Experience working with startups or scaling organizations is a plus.
- Hands-on, professional experience utilizing Slack, Google Workspace, and Excel/Sheets for light data manipulation and tracking.
