About the Opportunity

As a Regional Vice President of one of Salsify’s strategic sales teams, you will assume leadership of a growing sales organization, which includes individual contributors (Strategic Account Managers) to help drive growth from our largest and most strategic customers.

You will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing your team, which includes recruiting, hiring, and training new team members on the sales process. Additionally, you will plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels. You will participate and lead in client meetings, including personally driving sales deals and contributing to Salsify’s revenue goals. You will develop and execute an account management plan aimed at ensuring 100% customer satisfaction/renewals and will work cross-functionally with partners such as Customer Success, Pre-Sales, and Product.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 reps supporting Salsify’s largest and most strategic accounts (top 60 customers)
  • Weekly 1:1 and coaching with team members to develop their sales skills, including vertical market management, forecasting accurately to upper management, prospecting within the account base, negotiations, & other necessary skills, while maintaining individual accountability to goals
  • Assess sales activities & forecasts to determine sales progress & required improvements. Recommend & implement improvements to achieve sales goals
  • Develop & execute renewal process & strategies and ensure compliance to internal data management & reporting, including use of Salesforce
  • Provide value in complex negotiations & the closing of upsell business, including appropriate use of Salsify Senior Executives to maximize results
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to optimize sales and customer satisfaction
  • Cultivate lasting business relationships with customers through consultative sales tactics and effective account management practices
  • Maintain/protect Salsify core values by hiring culturally aligned team members & leading by example

You'll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

  • 5-10 years of previous IC sales experience - preferably Enterprise/Strategic Sales in a fast-paced SaaS sales environment
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience
  • A passion for leading highly experienced sales professionals in a global, strategic account environment
  • Exceptional leadership skills: a strong recruiter and motivator of people.
  • Solid track record of building and developing highly effective sales talent.
  • Proven collaborator and liaison with all cross-functional teams and levels within an organization and have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

The posted compensation range reflects the base salary for this position. In addition to base salary, some eligible roles may also have a commission plan or a bonus incentive. All Salsify employees receive equity in the form of stock options. US National Pay Range
$170,000$200,000 USD
