Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of solar and clean energy solutions, offering innovative and sustainable energy alternatives to homeowners and businesses. They are committed to helping clients reduce energy costs and minimize their environmental impact through efficient, high-quality solar products. The company is looking for a motivated, energetic, and resilient Sales Consultant to join their team and help grow the customer base through consultations and exceptional service.

Location and Time:
Fully Remote (Work from Home), Monday- Thursday: 9 AM - 6 PM PST | Friday: 9 AM - 5 PM PST

Role Overview:
As a Sales Consultant, you will conduct Google Meet-based consultations with prospective solar customers. While prior experience in solar or sales is appreciated, it’s not required. The most important qualities we’re looking for are enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. This role is focused on building relationships and providing helpful, informative consultations to guide potential customers in choosing the right solar solutions for their needs. The ideal candidate should be comfortable on camera, eager to help homeowners, and able to handle rejection with resilience and a positive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultation & Sales:

    • Conduct virtual consultations via Google Meet with inbound leads to discuss solar energy solutions.

    • Present the benefits of clean energy, answer questions, and offer personalized recommendations based on customer needs.

    • Build strong, positive relationships with customers, focusing on providing value and addressing their concerns.

  • Sales Process Management:

    • Manage the pipeline and ensure timely follow-ups to keep the sales process moving forward.

    • Work with customers to qualify their needs and ensure a smooth transition to the next stages of the sales funnel.

    • Handle the end-to-end sales process from consultation to closing.

  • Lead Management:

    • Utilize CRM tools (such as Salesforce or other platforms) to track leads, manage appointments, and monitor progress throughout the sales cycle.

    • Follow up with leads who may not immediately convert, maintaining engagement through email and other outreach methods.

  • Customer Satisfaction & Retention:

    • Provide exceptional service throughout the consultation and sales process, ensuring customers feel heard and informed.

    • Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and offer additional support when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience & Skills:

    • 2+ years of sales and/or client-facing experience is preferable, but not required. Experience in solar energy or clean tech is highly advantageous. Fresh grads are also welcome to apply.

    • Fluency in English (both written and verbal) with excellent communication and presentation skills.

    • Comfortable conducting virtual meetings via Google Meet or other platforms, with strong camera and client-facing presence.

    • Experience using CRM software to manage leads and track sales progress (Salesforce is a plus).
