Job Description

Sales Development Representative

AcuityMD is a software and data platform that accelerates access to medical technologies. We help MedTech companies understand how their products are used, why customers vary, and identify opportunities for physicians to better serve their patients. Each year, the FDA approves ~6,000 new medical devices. Our platform helps MedTech companies get these products to physicians more effectively so they can improve patient care with the latest technology. As one of our SDR’s, you will be at the forefront of bringing an industry-changing software product to the MedTech market. You will represent AcuityMD by helping prospects and customers understand the value of AcuityMD. You’ll be methodical in prospecting and will drive new business revenue through outbound opportunity generation. You’ll also have the opportunity to compound your growth and work with a team of exceptionally smart, driven, and passionate people.

Team Mission

We are building a best-in-class Commercial Team and establishing a repeatable go-to-market motion. We are hiring a team of high-caliber Enterprise SaaS sales, marketing, and customer success professionals to thoughtfully engage VPs, General Managers, and other corporate decision-makers across the Medical Device Industry. Our Commercial Team takes a proactive, consultative, and high-touch approach when working with customers, investing heavily in pre-sales through onboarding and training to ensure customers are on the road to success from Day 1.

Responsibilities

  • Build pipeline of qualified leads via outbound opportunity generation and inbound qualification
  • Create a fantastic first impression of AcuityMD for potential customers and lay the foundation for long-lasting partnerships.
  • Organize, maintain, and prioritize sales leads in our CRM and measure lead conversion and performance against quota.
  • Conduct deep customer and market research to tailor pitches to customer-specific needs and use cases.
  • Collaborate across internal Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to achieve sales objectives and to deliver product feedback.

Your Profile

  • You have 2+ years of experience in a sales role at a medical technology company, Life Sciences organization, or Enterprise SaaS company
  • You are highly motivated and target driven with a proven history of high achievement
  • You are a proactive and persistent person who brings infectious energy and resiliency to a growing team
  • You have strong prioritization and organization skills and are able to manage many opportunities at once
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Haves

  • You have experience or very strong interest in the MedTech industry

You must have an eligible work permit in the USA to be considered for this position

AcuityMD is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, market data and may vary from the range provided. OTE salary range: $90,000 to $110,000
