SALES DIRECTOR – LEGAL OUTSOURCING
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting an experienced Sales Director who will drive growth for the Legal Outsourcing function, building relationships, and play a key part in the continued success of the firm.
The ideal candidate will be highly driven, results-oriented, and possess a strong track record of bringing in new business, managing sales pipelines, and creating efficient follow-up processes.
As most of our clients are currently US-based, you must be able to work according to US time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Business Development: Identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients and stakeholders.
- Sales Strategy & Pitching: Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the Legal Outsourcing market, presenting compelling pitches to prospective clients across FS, Private Equity, and Hedge Funds in particular.
- Follow-Up & Sales Process Management: Establish and maintain a robust follow-up process to ensure all leads are nurtured, tracked, and converted into long-term clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exploring opportunities for further collaboration in contract management services. Directly manage a portfolio of early-stage new business accounts.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with partners and senior management to align sales goals for Legal Outsourcing with overall business objectives, driving consistent growth.
- Subject Matter Expert: Become a subject matter expert in the Legal Outsourcing function. Take the lead in client conversations to gain a deep understanding of the client’s needs to appropriately sell in the Firm’s services.
- Reporting & Analytics: Regularly report on sales performance within the Legal Outsourcing business, track key metrics, and refine strategies to continuously improve sales outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Sales Director or in a senior sales role within a professional services environment.
- Experience within Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Investment Management required.
- Experience within a law firm, either as a lawyer or senior manager, is highly desirable.
- Strong track record of successfully bringing in new business and exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrable experience of securing business in the PE, VC, Finance space
- Ambitious, determined, energized by success, entrepreneurial spirit, passion for delivering results.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience creating and managing a streamlined and effective sales follow-up process.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales tools.
- Experience in remote work environments is a plus.
