About the Role:
As a Sales Engineer supporting our off-shore Commercial sales team, you will work closely with the sales team and engage directly with customers and prospects to deliver tailored technical solutions, showcase product expertise, and address complex business needs. Your role will be pivotal in building customer trust, designing impactful solutions, and fueling the overall growth of our commercial sales efforts.
What You'll Do:
- Support an off-shore Commercial sales team through discovery calls, product demonstrations, pilots, and onsite meetings
- Will be capable of providing customized demonstrations of the Motive product offering to prospects spanning a multitude of roles
- Successfully match customer pains and requirements to proposed solutions
- Become an expert on Motive’s competition, lending your expertise to Account Executives working on displacement deals
- Become the product expert, not only on Motive’s current offering but our roadmap as well
- Support the Product Team with training on new feature releases, focusing on the unique value proposition it will offer the Sales Team
- Sales liaison between multiple internal organizations, including; Product, Engineering, Customer Success and Product Marketing
What We're Looking For:
- 1+ years working with sales prospects in a pre-sales/sales engineering capacity (SaaS and Hardware experience is a plus)
- Bachelor's Degree required, Bachelor’s of Science preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven business acumen
- Consistent track record selling complex solutions
- Experience in the Transportation & Logistics industry is a plus
- Experience supporting off-shore sales executives a plus
Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. For this role, the on-target earnings (base pay + commissions) are:
