The Sales Operations Commission Analyst will be responsible for managing the commission payment process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in working with financial data. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance, accounting, or a related field, and experience with commission calculations and payment systems.This position supports a fast moving sales organization and will require someone who is able to operate in a nimble yet thorough manner through implementation of short term solutions while more formal solutions are designed.
What You'll Do:
- Own and execute, with accuracy, the end to end sales commission process for all commissionable members of the organization (~100 employees)
- Prepare and distribute commission reports to sales teams and executive management.
- Ensure timely and accurate commission payments to eligible employees.
- Conduct regular audits of commission calculations to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance.
- Analyze commission data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
- Assist in budget forecasting and financial planning related to sales commissions.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Sales teams to address commission-related inquiries and issues.
What You Have:
- 3+ years of experience in commission analysis, financial analysis, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Experience with commission software and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data processing and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to commissions.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements affecting commission payments.
The national cash compensation range for this role is $71,000 - $94,000 per year*
*Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
