As a Senior Sales Systems & Tools Manager within the Commercial Excellence organization, you will play a key role in building the tools and processes needed to scale our business, and ultimately contributing to Instacart’s growth and success.
About the Role
As a Sales Systems & Tools Manager II, you will act as a liaison between the technical and non-technical departments. You will partner cross-functionally with IT to design, implement, and maintain best-in-class technology solutions for Instacart’s Ads businesses. You will drive long-term Sales and Marketing transformation projects, as well as day-to-day operations of the tools platform. You will manage the implementation and roadmap for third-party and AI tools, and help influence the strategy to scale Instacart’s tools ecosystem to meet the growing needs of the business.
About the Team
Systems & Tools (S&T) sits within Commercial Excellence, and is responsible for defining and executing the tooling strategy for sales enablement and effectiveness programs at Instacart. S&T is uniquely positioned to provide centralized tooling support to the sales organization by leveraging our partnerships, harnessing our technical skills, and tapping into our program management expertise. We aim to empower our sales teams by leveraging technology, data, and strategic insights to achieve operational efficiency and revenue growth.
About the Job
- Work with senior Sales and Marketing stakeholders to analyze and document requirements.
- Partner with technical teams in IT to design and deploy high quality Salesforce solutions, automations, and tool integrations.
- Manage the end-to-end third-party and AI tools portfolio, including tool evaluation, procurement, contract management, running pilots, tracking adoption, ongoing support, etc.
- Drive change management and guide the strategic roadmap for the Ad sales tools ecosystem.
- Balance long-term and ad-hoc projects independently in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Run the day-to-day support and operations of the tools platform, and perform other tasks as needed.
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Sciences.
- 5-6 years of applicable experience, preferably in a digital advertising or e-Commerce organization.
- Salesforce Admin 201 Certification or equivalent.
- Proven experience leading Salesforce Order-to-Cash implementations.
- Aptitude with Sales and Marketing productivity and enablement tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with third-party tools procurement, CRM integration, and GTM strategies.
