About the Role
We are hiring for a Backend Engineer to join our Core Platform team. This team is responsible for designing and scaling the foundational systems that power all our AI-driven products—from secure authentication and configuration engines to core services like logging, feature management, and real-time orchestration.
You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to build modular, high-performance backend systems that are critical to uptime, compliance, and scalability across the company. This is a hands-on role ideal for engineers looking to grow their impact while working on production infrastructure used by every product team.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement backend services that power cross-cutting features like knowledge, content, configuration, identity, access control, and audit.
- Write performant, secure, and testable code using js, Go, or Python
- Build and maintain APIs, service orchestration layers, and shared infrastructure modules
- Collaborate with platform, ML, and product teams to ensure backend systems are flexible, resilient, and developer-friendly
- Contribute to service monitoring, alerting, and production readiness practices across core systems
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, sprint planning, and internal platform adoption initiatives
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2–4 years of backend engineering experience, ideally in platform or service-oriented roles
- Proficiency in at least two modern backend programming languages (Node.js, Go, Python, Java)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.), and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of service architecture, data modeling, and system design fundamentals
- Solid grasp of debugging, testing, and monitoring backend applications in production
Bonus Points:
- Exposure to platform engineering, dev tools, or internal infrastructure services
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi
- Familiarity with observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
- Prior work in B2B SaaS, compliance-heavy, or AI-enabled product environments
Why Join Us?
- Build foundational systems that power every AI experience across the company
- Work closely with senior engineers and technical leadership in a high-ownership environment
- Contribute to a fast-moving, product-driven culture where platform thinking is a first-class priority
- Accelerate your growth in backend systems, distributed architecture, and infrastructure engineering

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
